Extract tables and data from PDF into Excel
Copying numbers out of a PDF by hand is slow and error-prone. This tool pulls text and table-like data out of your PDF and arranges it into an Excel workbook you can sort, filter, and calculate with. It works best on PDFs that contain real, selectable text and clearly structured tables.
Frequently asked questions
Does it detect tables automatically?
It extracts text and table-like structures. Clean, gridded tables convert most reliably; complex layouts may need a quick review.
Can it read scanned PDFs?
Scanned pages are images, so they need OCR first to become selectable text.
What format do I get?
A standard .xlsx workbook that opens in Excel, Google Sheets, and LibreOffice Calc.
Is enhanced detection available?
Yes. Pro members get enhanced table detection for trickier documents.
Are my files private?
Yes. Standard extraction runs locally in your browser — your PDF is never uploaded. Only the optional AI table detection sends a rendered image of each page for analysis, and it is deleted automatically after processing.
